The annual River cruise of Dhaka Commerce College was held on 2 September 2016. Sudarban10, one of the largest launches in the country, was selected as the vehicle. More than 15 hundred people participated in the tour including 1240 students. Chairman of the Governing Body Professor Dr Shafiq Ahmed Siddique inaugurated the programme. Among others GB members Professor Md Abu Saleh, Professor Mian Lutfar Rahman, Professor Dr MA Rashid, Professor Md Enet Hossain Mia, The Principal Professor Md Abu Sayeed and the Vice-Principal (Administration) Professor Md Shafiqul Islam participated in the tour. Md Ibrahim Khalil, Associate Professor & Chairman of Finance and Banking Department was the convener of Nou Vromon 2016. The students savoured the fresh Hilsha fish of the river Padma. A gorgeous cultural programme including fashion show, modeling, group dance, comedy show, musical programme, raffle draw, etc added to the attraction of the tour.
