A discussion meeting and prize distribution ceremony was held in the Professor Kazi Faruky Auditorium of Dhaka Commerce College on the occasion of the historic speech of 7th March by the greatest Bangli of all time Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Professor Md. Abu Saleh, Advisor of BUBT and member of Dhaka Commerce College Governing Body, attended the program as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Md. Abu Masud, the Principal of the College , presided over the meeting. Dr. Ishrat Marin, Assistant Professor of the Dept. of Bangla, was the chief discussant. Professor Wali Ullah, the vice Principal, Professor Md. Shafiqul Islam, Advisor Academic , SM Ali Azam, secretary of the Teachers’ Council and Shama Ahmad, convener of the cultural committee were also present as guests. The teacher, students and staffs of the college attended the meeting as well.
The chief guest distributed the prizes among the winners of the speech, essay and general knowledge competitions.
