The Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day-2024 was observed at Dhaka Commerce College on 21 February 2024. The program of the day was started with Probhat Ferry at 7.30 in the morning. Dhaka Commerce College paid homage to the language martyrs with wreaths of flowers at the Shaheed Minar in the campus. The chief guest of the occasion was A. F. M. Sarwar Kamal, one of the founders and a member of the governing body of Dhaka Commerce College. Professor. Dr. Md. Abu Masud, the Principal of the college, Professor Md. Wali Ullah, the Vice Principal, along with teachers, officers, other employees and students of the college took part in the program. In the segment of Discussion, speakers emphasized the significance of the day. A special issue of Sheikh Russel Wall Magazine was opened; competitions of writing essays and hand-writing, along with a photography exhibition, were held on the occasion.
