Discussion Session and Speech Competition on the eve of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh

Discussion session and Speech competition was held at Dhaka Commerce College on the eve of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s historical 7th March Speech on 7th March 2020. The programme was presided over by the Principal (Acting) Prof. Md. Shafiqul Islam.Vice Pricipal Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Masud and Adviser (Academic) Prof. Md. Mojahar Jamil delivered speeches reflecting the importance and significance of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s historical 7th March Speech. The welcome speech was delivered by the convener of the programme and S M Ali Azam,  Associate Professor of the Dept. of Management. The key Speaker was Professor Md. Wali Ullah, Chairman of the Dept. of Economics. The ascertained speaker was Shamsad Sahjahan, Associate Professor of the Dept of Management and Member of the Governing Body of the College. Other discussants were Md. Monsur Alam, Associate Professor of the Dept of English, Md. Ahaduzzaman Diraj Associate Professor and Chairman of the Dept of Physics and Md. Jakaria Faisal, Lecturer of the Dept of English. Besides, Fahmida Suborna from class XI and lift operator Md. Nurul Haque participated in an open discussion.

In the end Principal (Acting) Prof. Md. Shafiqul Islam distributed awards among the winners of 7th March speech competition. In the competition the 1st place was acquired by Risita Rezaul from science group, class XI (Roll-000204) and the 2nd  place  was acquired by Mehedi Hasan from Business studies, class XI (Roll-42984) and the 3rd place was combinedly   acquired by Fatema Khatun, Hons Part-2, Dept of Marketing( Roll-MKT1569)  and Zubayer Ahmed  from Business studies, class XI( Roll-43598).
