Dhaka Commerce College convened a virtual meeting on 31st March following the celebration of Golden Jubilee of our Independence. the meeting was chaired by the chief guest Dr. Kazi Nurul Islam, professor of Dhaka University, Department of World Religion and Culture, former chairman of the Department of Philosophy, founder director of inter-science and inter-cultural discourse, general secretary of Universal Peace Federation and a valiant freedom fighter. The special guest was AFM Sarwar Kamal, the entrepreneur and founder of Dhaka Commerce College, member of Governing Body and ex-secretary of Bangladesh Govt. The session was presided over by professor Dr. Shafiq Ahmed Siddiq, the Chairman of Governing Body of Dhaka Commerce College.Inaugural speech was delivered by the Principal, Professor Dr. Abu masud. Gold-medal was conferred on the chief guest in honour of Freedom Gallantry Award. Panegyric, in honour of the guest, had been read out by the Vice-principal, Professor MD. Wali-Ullah. Other participants were Academic Advisor, Professor MD. Shafiqul Islam, convenor of Cultural Committee, Samsad Sahajahan and teachers and other personnel.The programme was conducted by S M Ali Azam, Controller, IT Section.
